Shotsie and the Lubber

I went out to water the potted plants the other day, and wound up scaring up a lubber (a giant grasshopper).


It tormented Shotsie.


I've had a rash of these things around my yard over the last month. (The green netting is a relatively "cheap" and inexpensive way- thanks to Mom- to save the screen from the cats until I can afford kickplate or something else.)
