Answer me this...

My mother sent me this email, and it asked something like "If you saw me in the back of a police car, what would you think I'd been arrested for?"

So I thought about that question for myself. What could I possibly see myself ever getting arrested for? The only thing I could come up with was "civil unrest". I can see me getting in trouble for some sort of protesting or display.

I asked Woodrow what he could ever see me being arrested for. He said, first off, that he couldn't ever see me getting arrested, because I am so "responsible" that it's "disgusting". But, if he had to pick something, he said perhaps stealing an animal from someone who was neglecting it (for the record, I would like to note that I am "too responsible" to do that except in the direst of circumstances, and would instead go the legal route and contact the authorities), or for a traffic violation (not gonna happen.)

Another friend responded:
I'd think that you chained yourself to a tree about to get cut down with the rest of the forest. Or, you released all the animals at an animal testing facility then burned the place down. Or, you thwarted the attempts of a whaling ship and got carried away somehow. Or, you showed up at a puppy or kitty mill with a baseball bat demanding justice.

That's just a start to the list!

What's with the violence?! Haven't my friends learned that while I am something of an activist, I am basically a "passive-activist"? Think of the hippies in the '60s. That's me! Baseball bat? Come on!

So, if you had to pick something, what can you see yourself being arrested for?

I got this one on my cell phone.

As for me...I'm sure that it would be for breaking into someones car, because a dog had been left inside, while it's owner was shopping. Or maybe tossing trash into someones car, because I had seen them dump in a parking lot, before going inside the store! I've always hoped that I would have the opportunity to toss a still smoldering butt, into someones car after then threw it on the ground.

I can't stand litterers and irresponsible pet owners!
