Well, it seems that the A/C is out at my place. We noticed last night that it didn't seem to be cooling well, but I wasn't sure whether there was a problem. I thought perhaps the filters just needed to be changed, and it wasn't getting good airflow.
But tonight, after spending hours working in the yard with my mother and her friend, I found that the outside fan unit (compressor?) wasn't even running. So I have the A/C company looking to set me up an appointment tomorrow.
It's always something, isn't it? Just a couple of weeks ago it was the water pump, and at the same time my car was in the shop. Now the A/C. Here's hoping that it isn't anything major! The unit is only about four years old. They generally have a life of 10-12 years, and through good maintenance can last 20 years. It's currently 84 degrees in here. I hope that as the temps cool off outside it will cool down in here. It is currently about 82 degrees out, and will drop down to about 68-70 degrees overnight.
Keep your fingers and toes crossed that this doesn't cost me an arm and a leg!

You know what people say...when it rains it pours. I guess that is what has been happening to you lately with the stuff in your life breaking down. I hope there was an end to it.
